● Working in a Trauma Level III facility with a Level III L&D and NICU.● L&D averaging 150-200 deliveries per month.● Able to perform ROM Plus Test to detect ruptured membranes.● Able to perform Fetal Fibronectin Test to help predict the possibility of premature delivery.● Used external fetal monitoring equipment, including walking monitors and Novii Wireless PatchSystem.

● Working in a Trauma Level III facility with a Level III L&D and NICU.● L&D averaging 350-400 deliveries per month.● Cross trained in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) triaging patients and ObstetricSpecial Care (OBSC) taking care of high risk patients.● Able to perform AmniSure Test to detect ruptured membranes.● Build positive and trusting relationships with patients while providing education regarding laborprocess, pain management, and newborn care.● Care for maternity patients using fetal and maternal monitoring equipment and assistingobstetricians during exams, delivery, surgical procedures including cesarean deliveries.● Monitor fetal heart rate for abnormalities and communicate them to the physician.● Demonstrate active listening and empathetic care by striving to manage patient’s pain throughepidural and patient-controlled analgesia administration.● Make arrangements for patients to meet with lactation consultants and other professionals asneeded.● Participating in precepting of new employees and student nurses.● Chairman/President of the Quality Improvement Committee● Recruitment & Retention Committee member
