People cannot exist in a vacuum. As Aristotle wrote, man is a political animal. Given our political nature, we benefit from connection, true connection, in which we can grow bonds and communities that keep us together. There is power in connecting people, and if used well, it can do much good. My goal is to give my children the community they need to be stable adults. More than that, it needs to be grounded in the teachings of the Catholic Church so that they can grow to know, love, and serve God.To that end, I have taken on a project to give them access to the best possible education. I am assisting in building a Catholic classical academy here in Wichita for my kids, that they might have a better life. In doing so, they will have a strong community on which to rely for help and growth. I worked as an Outreach Intern for the John Quincy Adams Society, then as an Online Community Developer for the Association of American Medical Colleges, and as a Young Voices op-ed contributor. These experiences gave me knowledge and experience in the field of communications, which I plan to use to help lead the Mass Communications portfolio for the Academy.If you are interested in supporting the Academy, feel free to message me!
