Analysing the risk of illegal early access to superannuation, applying the legislation, and engaging non-compliant clients. Key Achievements:- Identified business improvement opportunities including the successful implementation of an automation tool, which removed time-intensive profiling of clients, on average by 80%. - Identified new procedure and process improvements that delivered improved client and staff experience by reducing steps required or clarifying actions required in over 10 instances.

1 January 2015 - 2 June 2017Australian Taxation Office, Business Management Team, Project Leader.Report preparation, data management, project leadership, business support services and team development.Key Achievements:- Awarded a Certificate of Recognition by Senior Executive Staff for the production of real time dashboard reporting and production of a single page report (reduced from multiple pages) resulting in more efficient and effective decision making prior to the peak Tax Lodgment Period. - Awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for successfully managing multiple projects including the delivery of a redesigned database (JIRA). My work resulted in: - logical data entry options, - data entry automation, - increased visibility, - improved stakeholder relationships, and - fewer user complaints. - Letter of thanks from a major stakeholder group for my contributions to their business line by providing clear and useful consultation services resulting in the successful design and implementation of a new JIRA instance to be utilised as a customised ERP system and to work with an existing CRM interface (Siebel). Ultimately delivering superior reporting mechanisms.

1 January 2015 - 2 June 2017Australian Taxation Office, Business Management Team, Project Officer.Fast paced support for a call centre team focused around software administration (JIRA/Siebel/SharePoint) including; data cleansing, modeling and trend identification/analysis. Additional project work included internal communications (staff messages and procedures), and national staff training. Key Achievements:- Successful business case development and presentation to senior executive staff, securing funding for upgrades to data capture and reporting functions. - Researched, implemented and marketed an internal communications online form and publications template, resulting in automated submission, reduced publishing time from hours to minutes and recognition as best practice across 3 business lines. - Scouted and developed staff talent to senior leadership with the resulting staff delivering ongoing value and capability for the business and organisation of nationally dispersed training events under extremely tight deadlines, whilst liaising with multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver training prior to tax lodgment peak period.

Internal focussed business support for Service Delivery teams. Providing technical tax and processing advice to call centre and processing staff, with a focus on ABN/TFN Registrations, Amendments and Tax Offsets. In addition to advice, I actioned:- Procedure development including scripting - Unique correspondence/letter development- Training events, mentoring and quality review of staff workKey Achievements- Certificate of Achievement for Quality Management System accreditation. - Nomination for Service Delivery Living the Values.

Working closely with clients to provide advice in the form of Private Rulings, General Guidance, Objections, Reviews, Complaints and Referrals. Topics of advice focused on Capital Gains Tax, Residency, Withholding/Royalties, Forex, Personal Services Income, and Penalties and Interest.Clients types included Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Individuals.Liaison with areas including; Dispute Resolution, Legal Services Branch, Business Management, and Systems Release Support Team.Key Achievements- Certificate of Achievement for delivering business efficiencies for complex technical topics including International Taxation matters.- Implementation of recommendations for Senior Executive on simplifying Private Ruling forms.-

Rotations working in Interpretative Assistance and Advice (including shop front-facing customerservice), Active Compliance (Audit) and the call centre. As part of this program, I completed my Certificate IV in Project Management and successfully presented in Melbourne to Senior Executive Staff (SES) “An Australian comparison of climate change policies and their effect on steel industry competitiveness in an international market”. I received high marks and positive feedback on my presentation skills and technical knowledge.
