What I do: Incorporate a wide range of HR insight into every day client and employee interactions. I help guide them through the extensive requirements from the state so that they can work for the state PCA/CFSS program and be confident in the agency (us!) to provide the best options for them to do so. My objective in HOW I do this is ensuring an efficient and smooth transitions for caregivers to start working. This covers everything from running detailed background studies though DHS, assisting employees taking state required testings and certificates, helping employees know how to submit hours for payroll, administering new hire paperwork, and being a resource for them with any HR questions or needs that may arise in the onboarding process and beyond. I really enjoy providing my people with such a good experience, that they just keep coming back and I become their "person" when they need help.Who I work with: My HR team!! I am one of two onboarding coordinators, along with our orienteer, recruiter/staffer, HR specialist, and HR manager. In addition to my direct team, I work very closely with other department professionals including sales, finance, payroll, and operations to provide our employees with quick, easy, and friendly communication. We work collaboratively to improve processes, review state forms, communicate with both clients and caregivers, and streamline our operation to help AHH and its employees reach full potential.What makes me different: As a woman in the 2024 business world, I want to make an impact and a lasting impression on people. I strive to always create an open, safe, and enthusiastic environment in my workplace. I have a love for people and good communication. This really drives me to never settle for second best. Any conversation or interaction is an opportunity to learn, and when given that opportunity, I intend to seize that insight. That insight helps me better understand people, culture, and business to create a diverse career and positive personal outcome. Personal Goals: My goal is to always be learning, interacting, and adapting to the constantly changing trends and needs of the individuals within business and state procedures. Techniques in practice should change with culture to compensate ethically and logistically. To be successful, I have made it a personal goal to develop my capability to comprehend the psychology and reactive nature of people.
