I am a graduate of California State University of Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with an emphasis in Advertising. While working towards my degree, I held an internship with a well-respected public relations and advertising firm in Irvine, CA. My internship experience helped introduce me to the public relations and advertising industry, as I shadowed my mentors and collaborated on the creative processes during my day-to-day activities. During my internship, I continued to develop my social media skills by helping to create various online campaigns through the Canva platform, to assist the agency's clients in building and strengthening their social media presence. My background in retail sales, as a sales associate, combined with my knowledge of the advertising space, has helped prepare me to have a well-rounded perspective of the customer/ audience experience when I create and think about building an advertising strategy for a client. I looking to start a new opportunity in the advertising/ public relations space, and I am excited for what’s to come.
