I am pursuing degrees in multimedia journalism production and criminal justice at Washington State University. I serve the Associated Students of Washington State University as a senator. My primary focus is implementing new internship opportunities for students on campus.I currently intern for a Washington school district and work in strategic communications. My life's goal is to make the world a safer place for children to ensure they have optimal chances of developing into happy, contributing adults. I am invested in fighting child trafficking and child marriage.I plan to use my career to spread awareness of children in these circumstances to give them a voice and to spark legislative action. I aspire to become a criminal prosecutor and/or an investigative journalist documenting these issues firsthand to hold the proper channels accountable.My experience working in the food industry for over three years taught me how to interact with all people and make strangers feel comfortable. My coursework at Washington State University has taught me how to use Adobe Creative Cloud software like Photoshop, Indesign, Premiere Pro, and other graphic design and video editing software. I know how to conduct interviews, uphold journalistic standards, and write in multiple journalistic styles. I pursue videography and social media marketing in my spare time while uploading sporadically on my YouTube channel where I experiment with search engine optimization and branding messages to my target audience.
