Hi! My name is Sophie Freitas and I am a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Screenwriting and a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. I am a strong and passionate writer dedicated to writing and amplifying diverse perspectives within film and far beyond.At LMU, I had the opportunity to write two full length feature scripts as a part of my junior and senior theses along with many other shorter scripts, many of which are infused with illustrations of justice in marginalized communities, most notably Palestinians and Palestinian Americans. With my own personal connection along with my minor that focused on the education and advocation of human rights across the globe, I have become stronger as a person, a writer, and an academic. I would love to apply my skills in writing, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking to any job that sees fit.
