This includes setting up the store, hiring and training employees new to the company, overseeing store operations, and reporting feedback directly to the owners.

*Trend Expert: Monitor fashion trends through magazines, websites, fashion shows, and Pinterest. Know what items are in high demand. *Buyer: Purchase hot items in bulk*Listing Manager: List the items with trending terminology in the description. Be as descriptive as possible about each item's condition, details, shipping, and payment.*Customer Correspondent: Provide customer service with urgency and professionalism. Answer customer inquiries and facilitate returns.

Perform all the assistant manager tasks. (Same as an A&F assistant manager.)Expertise: associate training, recruiting, and sales floor audits.

I help middle school and high school students build their writing and grammar skills. I also prepare them for PSAT writing.

*Carry out "updates" and "floorsets." During weekly updates, I lead a team of associates in placing new items and refreshing presentations. During a seasonal floorset, we carry out a week-long project of making over the entire store.*Dressing and styling mannequins.*Following store-specific documents for each fixture.*Maintaining the store image and reinforcing standard.*Attend conference calls: summarize update/floorset results, discuss store performance, track store hours (whether we're over or under.)*Providing customer service and resolving issues.*Recruit/interview/hire new people to meet a staffing goal.*Manage approximately 65 sales-floor associates and stockroom associates.*Training associates on company standards and policies.*Developing associates in their careers - give frequent feedback and evaluations.*Opening and closing the store. This includes communicating daily with the district manager and reporting to home office about sales figures.

Processed daily invoices, generated purchase orders and sales orders, updated the daily inventory report, issued freight-in reports, and organized files. All correspondences were on Oracle, eReport, or customers' websites. Maintained contact with customers and other companies through Microsoft Outlook.

Helped coordinate art shows. Helped fundraise $3000 for the art department. Supported teachers through preparation of art lessons.

Taught second and sixth grade children art lessons, including painting, drawing, sculpting, etc. Planned art projects and art history lessons weekly. Presented material to students.
