Since beginning my career journey, I have been extremely lucky and grateful in the opportunities I have been given. Starting my first job in a local ice cream shop at the age of 14, to now becoming the managing director of the company is a progression I could never have imagined. During my 3 years at University I learnt a lot of valuable skills on how to manage operations and a team effectively, along with marketing strategies that have proven useful in my current job role. Working primarily in the food industry and for a small business has expanded my knowledge on how much it really takes to run a business and it is not for the faint of heart!
