My name is Sophie Pittelli, and I am currently a first-year student enrolled full-time at Fairfield University, pursuing a major in Marketing within the business school. I bring a proactive, can-do attitude, take responsibility, and hold myself accountable for results. I believe in a collaborative approach grounded in listening first, prioritizing, and communication. My professional experience encompasses various roles, including responsibilities such as visual merchandising, building customer relationships, cash management and entrepreneurship. I also managed a digital marketing strategy in support of our high school Green Team club and started a small jewelry business, observing market demand for low-priced, hand-crafted jewelry. This experience taught me the value of effective marketing messaging, promotion, pricing, and cash flow.As I look forward to my career, I want to gain experience in several marketing disciplines, which will allow me to better understand where to focus and/or manage a cross-discipline marketing team. I will remain curious and engaged and do the right things for the right reasons in support of my professional and personal pursuits.
