Discovery Inc, now owned by Warner Bros., is a company in the entertainment sector. In 2022, they planned to expand their streaming service Discovery+ to the German market and were in need of a German speaking quality consultant. My tasks included going through the website and control descriptions, titles, art and sound so that the website was ready to be launched.

Västerås, Västmanland, Sverige

As the chairperson of education for Mälekon (Mälardalens Ekonomiföreningar), I was the spokesperson for both students and teachers when it came to questions regarding the education of the economic programs. I attended meetings and tried to develop Mälardalens University's courses and programs with the help of feedback from both students and teachers. I further attended three multiple-day conferences with other economics associations across all of Sweden, giving me insight and a lot of experience in the field.

Oberoende

At Miniroom AB, a company selling a number of different brands of children products, my position included the translation of the company's digital website from Swedish to German. The translation was needed in order to allow the company to expand to the German market. The position further included quality checking the products and ensuring that pictures and texts were correct and existing.

In my position as a language teacher for Västerås Stad I worked in two positions. Firstly I worked as a teacher for children between the ages of 6-12, who had at least one parent who was a native German speaker, but grew up in Sweden. In the other position I worked as a tutor for German children who came to Sweden and assisted them in all subjects, as well as with the Swedish language.
