Beginning in Fall 2022, I helped pilot and now currently run a 1/2-unit course called Sustainability in Athletics within the new Doerr School of Sustainability at Stanford. This class focuses on the different forms that sustainability can take within the world of sports, and how athletics can be used as a platform to promote social and environmental change.

I coach 14/u girls on Stanford Water Polo club, teaching them water polo basics and developing their skills for future progress.

I worked with kids ranging from ages 2-14, translating my existing knowledge of swimming into a workable skill, and helped children with their swimming proficiency in both private and group lessons. This job required attention and safety skills to ensure water safety, and also required communication skills when discussing progress with parents.

I assisted in the constructing, handling, and shipping of water polo goals, floats, and other products for this company.

I attended annual training to become certified and applied the rules learned during training to create a fair and safe environment for children to play recreational and club soccer. I facilitated conflict resolution with coaches, fans, and athletes.
