- Taylor Collaboration is a biomechanics laboratory at Saint Mary’s Hospital that includes surgeons, engineers, and scientists.- Selected for MRRI program based on application and interview process. - Transformed MRI scans into 3D model designs of trabecular and cortical bone in the spine, designed each vertebra, and assessed compression, torque, viscoelasticity, durability, and performance through fracture tests using cadaveric specimens.- Participated in St. Mary’s orthopaedic residency spine conferences and cadaveric anatomy dissections. - Completed Biohazard Safety and Biomedical Research qualification courses. - Learned online 3D design software such as Mimics, RadiANT, and Workbench.
