While living in a small town in Brazil's Atlantic Rain Forest, Sophia became interested in the intersection of urban planning and sustainable land use, which led her to pursue a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on Land Use and Environmental Planning.
