Co-founder of a first-of-its-kind initiative conference at Duke that seeks to enrich the university’s professional landscape by cultivating a movement that celebrates and elevates the world of Fashion at Duke University and beyond. Through amplifying diverse narratives and fostering creative expression, DBFS champions inclusivity, creativity, and innovation. We are hosting our first ever summit this spring 2024 with an array industry expert guest speakers including Alexandra Winokur, Rebekah Mccabe, Ramy Sharp, Heidi Zak, TJ Walker, and more. I lead a team of 23 committee members, have raised our goal of $14k to fund the event, and are working with event sponsors such as Steve Madden, Osea Malibu, YSE Beauty, Bombas, Juice Press, and Gorjana.

Sunset Point is the desperately needed cup-sized clothing line ready to disrupt the fashion industry. Sunset promotes confidence by offering Gen Z women with a timeless, yet on-trend, top that features an integrated bra. We do this by offering the fashionable Gen Z girl (14 to 23 years old) who has a large chest (C-F) and relatively slim figure (back size is between 32-38) a unique, form-fitting top that allows her to feel both stylish and supported.

Write articles and help stage photoshoots under the Style division of FORM Magazine

The Little Market is a non-profit fair trade shop that features ethically sourced, artisan-made products. In my position as a paid intern working in multiple departments, I aided corporate team members in naming products, ideating social media content, planning events, executing photoshoots, interacting with influencers, counting inventory, and coding for the website. In addition, I wrote monthly corporate and wholesale emails, as well as strategized and wrote blog posts. Finally, I engaged with customers during new product launch events at the brick-and-mortar location.

Worked alongside the founder to curate a new yoga boutique filled with customized tank tops, candles, yoga mats, and various other products. I handled all outreach to wholesalers and worked to shape the brand’s creative direction.

Researched and presented a full scale examination of competitive landscape analytics on Tiktok and offered content strategies, emerging trends, and influencers to Clare, the founder, and head of Marketing.
