About Sophie Grange-Chamfray

I am passionate about ecology and have been working in biodiversity and wildlife conservation since 2002. My work experience spans across academic research, scientific and ecological consultancy for African conservation organisations, private foundations and international NGOs, as well as fundraising and capacity building within the philanthropic conservation sector. I am a conservationist with expertise in programme and team management, strategic planning and development, monitoring, evaluation and learning tools, and innovative conservation approaches.I am a driven, reliable, and enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational skills that enable me to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Most importantly, I thrive on tackling challenges and have a passion for continuous learning. My enthusiasm for knowledge drives me to explore new ideas and skills, enabling me to adapt and innovate effectively. I love working across multi-cultural contexts, where I can exchange perspectives and insights with people from various backgrounds. This has not only enriched my understanding but also enhanced my ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
