Sophia Griffith is a junior at Arizona State University, majoring in Sports Business. She aspires to own a gymnastics facility and work in sports broadcasting, particularly as an anchor for ESPN or Fox Sports. Sophia is enrolled in marketing and supply chain management courses at ASU’s W.P. Carey Business School.Sophia trained in gymnastics for 15 years, reaching Level 9, one of the highest levels before collegiate gymnastics. She was the State and Region 3 Champion and led her high school team through an undefeated season ultimately winning a State Championship. Sophia began coaching in 2022 at her home gym and now coaches at Gold Medal Gymnastics, owned by Olympic Champion Amanda Borden. Through coaching, Sophia has developed a passion for mentoring young gymnasts and developing a strong foundation for the next generation. Sophia is committed to owning a gymnastics facility one day while pursuing a career in sports broadcasting. She plans to leverage her gymnastics background and leadership experience to break into sports anchoring. In her free time, Sophia thrives on staying active and being in nature.
