CurrentLionbridgePR was originally founded in 2008, starting life in London as MCM Ltd. It was set up by Sophie and Ben McCarthy who combined their experience of working in London’s biggest PR agencies and in front of the camera for BBC, ITV and Sky News. The business has been built on advising clients on how to face the media, largely in times of crisis. Rapidly becoming trusted advisors to leadership teams in businesses and organisations around the world, communications teams have turned to them for help in telling their stories and protect their reputations. With a largely B2B and corporate focus, current clients include easyJet, J&J, Veramaris, Swiss National Bank and DSM Food Specialties and Nutritional Products . Since the Coronavirus pandemic, LionbridgePR has developed programmes using virtual platforms and is currently focussed on developing a client base closer to home.
