I have worked with a year 1 class in which I assisted the teacher with various tasks such as classroom management, group work and phase 2 phonics. Supporting children was my main role in the classroom and it is a wonderful experience. I worked with two specific children in the classroom whom are both EAL students. Argyle is a wonderful school to be a part of as the staff and children are extremely enthusiastic which made my days in school enjoyable.

Access course to becoming a Primary Teacher (KS1/KS2)- Education Studies- Child Development- Maths, Science and English - Study Skills- Placements in Schools

Working in a KS1 class (year 2) helping children across the curriculum on Thursdays for 3 months.

Placement - observing and helping the teacher/teaching assistants in a year 3 classroom (KS2).Through this school based placement, l gained valuable experience by working with children on a one to one basis as well as larger groups across the ks2 curriculum. I also choreographed the school's Christmas play in four weeks which was a great success.

Recruiting new students for the University at the British Council events in Hong Kong. Working alongside fellow students from the University as well as Nick Strong my tutor/ mentor at the University.

Working with children (aged 6 to 16) in drama workshops as well as creating a performance at the end of the year.

English teacher in a bilingual classroom (Chinese/English). Working with a Reception class for a year. A great experience before going to University as it has made me want to be a KS1/KS2 teacher.
