I am both a detailed and people person with a real drive to help veterinary teams and business improve with real on the ground impact.As general manager my main aspects of my roles and responsibilities are:• Developing and implementing medium and long-term business strategies for Onswitch• Researching and championing appropriate techniques, tools and training to ensure that we are always able to offer practices and veterinary businesses tailored solutions for their unique challenges• Supporting vet practices in identifying and addressing the issues and blocks that may be preventing them becoming a practice that is good for pets, good for the team and good for business • Overseeing our wide-ranging research, mystery shopping and training portfolio• Managing new and ongoing projects across UK, Scandinavia, Australia and mainland Europe, working with businesses ranging in size from single-site to multi-site international operators • Supporting clients setting up their own practices with desk research, providing detailed insight help bring their ideas to life and achieve commercial success and longevity• Delivering training workshops• Debriefing research findings and recommendations I have been a Board Trustee for a secondary school, sharing best practice in a different environment but with the same focus on ensuring efforts are aligned with the organisation’s mission and ensure the best outcome for pupils. Outside the office I love getting stuck into a DIY challenge, gardening and travelling.
