During my Free Agent assignment with the Leadership Capacity Building at ISED, I was part of the small team who planned, designed, and delivered the new ‘Getting EX Ready’ program, a key initiative of ISED’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy. This program aims to increase employment equity representation at the executive level by providing developmental opportunities and showcasing talent that may have been previously overlooked. Extensive research was conducted with various departments, internal EDI networks and an external EDI committee to ensure the program modeled best practices of inclusion. The program allows a more inclusive and equitable pathway to executive leadership for individuals from diverse backgrounds.Happy to share our little team is among the finalists for the 2023 Government of Canada HR Excellence Award which will be attributed on October 17!

I wore the many hats of a small business owner, from leading hundreds of workshops myself, identifying new talents, recruiting and training every photographer on our team, ensuring our international clients' satisfaction, to developing partnerships with several agencies in Australia, the UK, Canada and others.
