As a Marketing Assistant for the College of Business, Law, Education and Social Science at NTU I was set the following objectives:1) To develop event expertise and experience during placement.- To take event briefs from school contacts and bring to life. - Identifying opportunities to add value and ensuring events run seamlessly, professionally and on brand throughout the College calendar. 2) To develop marketing knowledge and experience during placement.- Implement CRM plans (supported by Events Team).- Implement promotional plans (supported by Events Team).- Complete at least three print jobs.- Implement social media activities to support and maximise event activity and content.3) To provide Academic Ambassadors as required for College activities.- Recruit to the College Academic Ambassador database ensuring representation of ambassadors across Schools and courses.- Provide Academic Ambassadors for marketing activity as required.- Develop profiles of ambassadors (print and video) to use for ongoing ambassador recruitment activity.- Act as a first point of contact for the Ambassadors should they have any questions4) To manage enquiries and implement tracking of campus tours for the College.- To lead the delivery of campus tours for the College (supported by School Team), ensuring all visitors have a positive experience and sign posted for further information if required.- To add campus tour visitors to the CRM system to ensure contacts are followed up by School Communications and their recruitment progress tracked (supported by Events Team).- To produce a presentation at the end of the year to illustrate the impact of campus tours (supported by Events Team).
