I was a Finance Assistant at Kier for over a year. This is where I gained my increasing interest in the design and construction industry. I was able to use business process software to support the Finance Shared function ensuring I complied with accounting principles. Dealing with Finance I made sure all Data Entry had a clear audit trail eg clear invoices on system ensuring all timesheets, reports and certificates are correct.

Creating relationships with the customer and building a portfolio of own clients was a main focus of mine in this role. Trying to increase customer retention and reaching sales targets is number one. This was achieved by greeting customers with a smile, finding the right holiday or product to match the customers needs and requirements and upselling was the result of my achievements.
