Gained in-depth knowledge of machine learning theory and practices through hands-on experience working on a real-world project.

Researched mathematical techniques for mitigating multiple access interference (MAI) in spread spectrum communication systems. Synthesizing ideas from linear algebra and CDMA (code division multiple access) communications, wrote python code to verify and test these techniques. This work was further tested and implemented on the FPGA hardware. Approached the problem with creativity and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Helped design and assemble a prototype liquid immersion cooling tank for Bitcoin miners, which Lake Parime uses as a component of their product.Sourced parts, including researching electrical and mechanical parts based on given specifications and contacting vendors.Built relationships with immersion cooling experts and integrating their technical guidance to define tank features, conduct risk analyses and estimate costs and potential challenges.Communicated insights from immersion cooling experts and from leaders in the dielectric fluid and Bitcoin mining industries to the relevant teams at Lake Parime. Documented Lake Parime’s immersion cooling tank development timeline and progress, and provided clarity on key requirements, decisions, and consideration of customer needs.

Constructed a simulation of all known satellite Earth Stations operating in C-band in Canada using the software Visualyse, which provided a tool for the government to assess interference impacts of potential new mobile telecommunication systems. Using the agile development model, collaborated with a small team of ISED employees and cyber security experts to design and develop a cyber security certification process for small and medium enterprises in Canada, where my work on the initial feature planning and criteria definition led to the idea of breaking the process into cyber security certification “Levels”.
