Born and raised as a marketeer. Selling my way through life but then... In 2015 I experienced working with clay for the very first time. And I was hooked! I said farewell to my life as a marketeer and followed my gut feeling to start my own ceramics label. I am a true autodidact, simply put, I’m stubborn and keep trying until it works. So after testing out half of Youtube and Pinterest I started selling my work on my webshop. In 2019 I gave myself and my garage workspot a promotion and we moved to a light-filled atelier in Grimbergen. As from that first day on, my everyday focus was to create custom-made collections for fine-dining and Michelin starred restaurants. Dozens of collections created together with an assistant resulted in hundred of pieces of ceramics shipped monthly to chefs in Belgium and accros the border. Twice a week I shared my experience through workshops. Online through my own platform and offline around my worktable in my atelier. We, the workshoppers and I had a blast! Fast forward to 2023: Wondering what I love the most. Creating collections of ceramics or talking about it? Branding my own ceramics label was the most fun and natural part of the job to me. So I decided to turn things around. In june 2023 I sold my business and atelier. Position switch! Time to jump into the next chapter. But I prefer to call it my next rainbow!
