Conducted survey on dozens of university students using pre-made forms, categorized and collected student response data, and translated written responses in Korean to English. Learned and conducted the Multimedia Assisted Test of English (MATE) on dozens of university students’ essays as a rater for students’ writing performance analysis. Prepared and edited the script and Power Point Presentation for the professor’s presentation regarding the study.

Published and edited several investigative/informational articles on diverse topics. Cultural events, media phenomena, Korean job market, local attractions, film/Hollywood trend analysis, etc.

As a Korean culture/media excursion project manager, contacted several broadcasting stations and expatriate companies, supervised/managed budgeting, and processed all necessary documents. Counselled and supervised minor team leaders and new-in-line project managers.

Introduced and taught Korean culture, history, and language to students of various learning stages, ranging from kindergarten to senior high school. Prepared class topics and materials on site, communicating with local teachers of the institute.

Served as a Gunner/Operator of M167 Vulcan Air Defense System (VADS) within close vicinity of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) for 22 months. Honorably discharged as a staff sergeant.
