Various work on non-contentious corporate and commercial matters for clients across the globe. Property •Entirely responsible for the removal of trespassers from all corporate clients’ high value properties. Work involved taking statements from clients and other witnesses; drafting Petitions (Interdict applications with requests for Warrant of Removal and reduction of Notice Period from 21 days to 24 hours); instructing Counsel; attending hearings with Counsel; liaising with Sheriff Officers regarding service of papers and on-site security staff. In each case, the reduction of Notice Period was granted and the trespassers removed within 48 hours. I received several commendations from clients for my work in this area.•Assisted Partner in cases of encroachment/boundary disputes.Transport•Acted on behalf of a multi-million pound commercial client defending an action raised by way of Traffic Tribunal. Corporate Insolvency/Restructuring•Assisted Partner with case of potential Director Disqualification during corporate insolvency proceedings. •Supported Partner/Senior Associate in cases of liquidation.Employment•Assisted Senior Associate acting on behalf of corporate clients defending wrongful dismissal claims.
