I have recently co-founded a machine learning company (heukno) with the goal of pushing the limits for automated software generation. Before that, I worked 19 years at ATP's quantitative research group where I developed and applied advanced analytical and computational methods to solve problems within the areas of risk management, dynamic investment strategies, annuity design and longevity modelling. Much of the work has received international recognition and has been published in peer-reviewed journals. It is this spirit of tackling complex problems in innovative ways, that heukno is founded on.I have a strong background in statistics, mathematics and computer science from University of Copenhagen (DK) and Lancaster University (UK). Since 2013 I have also been an affiliated professor of insurance mathematics and statistics at University of Copenhagen.
