As a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a bachelor's degree in Earth Science, I have built a solid foundation in environmental processes, geology, and sustainable development. I began my professional journey in Geotechnical Engineering, where I spent two years applying my technical knowledge to analyze soil and rock mechanics for infrastructure projects.For the past three years, I’ve worked as an Urban Planner for the County of Santa Barbara. In this role, I collaborate closely with government officials, developers, and the community to ensure that projects align with land use policies, environmental regulations, and sustainable growth strategies. My work has involved navigating the complexities of zoning laws, environmental impact assessments, and urban development regulations to support the county's planning initiatives.I’m passionate about finding solutions that balance community needs with environmental stewardship, and I’m committed to creating spaces that are both functional and sustainable.
