My responsibilities include understanding all production requirements and ensuring that technology from various vendors meets these demands. Working alongside a team of engineers, I evaluate vendor solutions to ensure they meet our standards, assessing their robustness from both a technological and process perspective.When production have emergency shutdown I was called to helped debug production PLC code in hugely complex machinery like autoclaves, freeze-driers. My master's thesis investigates if deep learning models can be trained with synthetic data to detect defects in medicine vials with freeze dried product. Our methods had to be documented thoroughly so that it complies with the extensive regulatory requirements.

I was part of a development team to implement machine learning for a fully automatic inspection machine. I worked together with automation technicians to rewire old equipment to a new PLC and convert Siemens S5 PLC program to a newer TIA version. I worked together with data scientists to establish and optimize data gathering pipelines. I researched and developed the initial machine learning models that lives up to regulatory requirements.
