| Key selected Responsibilities |Covering the role as Technical and Legislative specialist withinTechnical project management of approval works for marine environmental equipment installations, ensuring compliance with the International Maritime Organization’s /IMO, MARPOL and BWMC Regulations. Serving as the subject matter expert for the Scandinavian and Baltic Region, handling client inquiries on Maritime Environmental matters, collaborating with major Flag States incl the Danish Maritime Authorities.Overseeing testing and Type Approval of Ballast Water Management Systems in Lloyd's Register‘s role as an IMO Recognized Organization and USCG Independent Laboratory. Actively participating in various IMO Correspondence Group works, contributing to the development of new codes and serve as an advisor to the Danish Maritime Authorities on related matters.

Covering the role as Environmental Systems and Compliance specialist and Project ManagerThe role involved comprehensive technical support for equipment and installations complying with international maritime environmental regulations (IMO Marpol). Responsibilities include providing second-level support to vessels and the operations department, and staying updated on discipline topics. In addition, by assisting to the technical development and the new building department, keeping top management informed and maintaining full IMO Marpol awareness. Serving as the first point of contact for Class Authorities and Flag Administrations, planning and executing on environmental upgrades and modifications, incl. site supervision, managing budgets ranging from $150k to $5M USD. Tasks encompass CAD drawing updates, planning future upgrades, and ensuring project management and eco-compliance for all Maersk Supply Service vessels. Additionally, the role involved participation in R&D projects, adherence to A.P. Møller-Maersk’s Makers Management System.In general, ensuring environmental safety and occupational health on MSS vessels, responsible for minimizing environmental impact, developing and maintaining procedures, overseeing daily running costs, and finally suggesting operational and cost savings improvements.
