As the Director of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center at IE Business School and an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship, I specialize in guiding and developing future leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship. My role extends into the corporate realm as a Trainer and Coach for Corporate Innovation Projects at Headspring Executive Development (a joint venture between IE and the Financial Times), where I empower professionals to drive innovation within their organizations.I am the Academic Director of the IE Impact Entrepreneurship and IE Challenge programs. Designed for all IE undergraduate students, they instill in them the values of responsible leadership, innovation, and the drive to tackle society's challenges. These programs are grounded in IE University's core pillars: the Humanities, Technology & Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Diversity. The culmination of this journey is the “IE Challenge”, an experience that will bring together students from different disciplines to solve major societal challenges.I actively contribute to the venture capital ecosystem as a member of the Tech and Digital investment committee across several venture capital instruments at Caixa Capital Risc, focusing on investments in startups from early stage to Series A.My passion for entrepreneurship extends to hands-on training in Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies, and I serve as a Pitch Coach for startups aiming to secure investment at international forums. My comprehensive experience includes launching training programs for startups and scaleups, venture capital, competitions, advisory services for entrepreneurs, and leading incubation and acceleration programs.I have designed multiple programs to develop intrapreneurial innovation projects in large firms from different countries and sectors, such as banking, energy, telco, media, e-commerce, insurance, distribution, construction, infrastructure, services, IT, pharma, and retail.Academically, I enrich IE Business School's MBA programs with my expertise in entrepreneurship and coordinate the Adjunct Faculty within the Entrepreneurship Academic Area. My academic foundation includes an MBA from IE Business School, studies in Economics and Innovation Management, and a degree in Computer Science Engineering, complemented by participation in the European Entrepreneurship Colloquium by EFER.I am deeply interested in the intersections of startups, corporate innovation, venture capital, and design thinking, continually seeking to explore and expand the boundaries of entrepreneurship and innovation.

My role as a Professor of Entrepreneurship involves a huge range of different aspects. The Entrepreneurial Management course provides a forum for the in-depth examination of the mindsets, methods and managerial activities that make up the entrepreneurial process, covering a wide area of issues from opportunity recognition to founding and growing new ventures. We also examine entrepreneurship from a managerial perspective. The sessions that compose the course aim to give the students a well-rounded learning experience - one which will enable them to develop skills and apply tools vital in today’s business world, whether they explore it as an entrepreneur or a corporate manager. Upon the completion of this course, participants should:- know how to recognize and evaluate new venture opportunities (vs. ideas),understanding both the entrepreneur’s as well as the investor’s perspective;- understand the issues faced by entrepreneurs when starting a venture, as well asacquire some of the fundamental skills and tools required for embarking on a newproject in an independent context;- understand the nature and purpose of a business plan in the context of new ventures and be able to write, articulate and present a business plan.
