Conducted interviews, performed data acquisition, processing and analysis on site in several European countries. Managed and supported data collection around the world, provided findings to the team, outside and in-house counsel, and the internal audit director.Engaged by counsel to provide litigation support for a major insurer defending complex claims. Created a database to perform multivariate / scenario analysis and assess exposure to claims under a custom insurance program. The insurer had over $1 billion in potential exposure.Engaged by counsel to provide litigation support in a dispute where a group of creditors of a national cable company had $500 million at risk. Created an ad hoc SQL database to analyze over 53 million transactions and worked with a team to extract relevant financial entries and data that enabled counsel to pursue questionable journal entries, which improperly added billions of dollars of debt and impaired the creditor group’s expected recovery in a bankruptcy proceeding. As a result of this work, counsel was able to make a significant recovery for their clients.Engaged by counsel to support an internal financial investigation and $150 million restatement at a major retailer. Assisted the Board of Directors by performing structured and unstructured data analysis to assess the situation and quantify the impact.Engaged by counsel to support an internal fraud investigation and $1.1 billion financial restatement at a major food distributor.
