Mr. Sorondo is a Senior Director in Huron's Business Advisory / Corporate Litigation and Investigation Group. With over 18 years of fraud and forensic accounting, litigation support, bankruptcy and turnaround experience, he has advised on cases involving partnership disputes, lost profits, breach of contract claims, accountants' malpractice and potential FCPA violations. He has conducted forensic investigations in connection with cases involving diversions of funds by fiduciaries and fraudulent accounting activity by management, and developed extensive insurance industry experience. Mr. Sorondo manages high-volume document and data processing and analysis for a variety of engagements through innovative technology. He also possess deep competencies in the extraction, normalization and analysis of large-scale enterprise databases in support of litigation. As a licensed P.I. in Florida, he performed investigations as to the whereabouts, affiliations and reputation of individuals and corporate entities, and developed expert knowledge in online database and public record resources.Mr. Sorondo is both a technical and financial hands-on leader who thrives in high-pressure environments setting up the people, process, technology and controls to solve complex problems in a timely, efficient, and effective manner for clients.
