About Rita Soronen

As the President and CEO of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption (DTFA), I lead a national non-profit public charity that is dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for more than 100,000 children in the U.S. foster care system who are waiting for adoption. For over 20 years, I have been driven by a passion for children's social justice and a commitment to excellence in fundraising, grantmaking, strategic planning, and organizational management.I am also an official member of the Forbes Nonprofit Council, where I share my insights and expertise on topics such as cause-related marketing, program development, and non-profit leadership.
