ARCH 105: In this course, I led discussions and delivered presentations, guiding students through the exploration of critical design thinking skills as applied to contemporary cities. Using Baltimore as a case study, I facilitated research and analysis on the various physical, social, political, environmental, and economic forces that shape and reshape urban environments. My role was to help students develop urban analysis tools and critical thinking skills, preparing them to actively engage as informed citizens in our increasingly urbanized world.

As a Graduate Researcher, I contributed to a project titled "Promoting Commute Equity in Maryland: A Machine Learning-Based Model Development." My role involved conducting data modeling, mining, manipulation, and visualization to support transportation equity efforts in the region. I used R programming as the primary software tool to analyze large datasets and generate visual insights, which were instrumental in informing policy recommendations and enhancing transportation accessibility.

Spring 2024:ARCH 206 - History of Built Environment I:I assisted students in understanding formal patterns and the technological and cultural dynamics that shaped the built environment. Through discussions and analysis, I supported students in gaining insights into the diverse influences on global design trends, fostering a comprehensive understanding of architectural and urban development across different cultures and periods.ARCH 207 - Site Design:I supported students in understanding and applying principles like spatial information, mapping, site selection, and programming. My role included guiding them through site inventory, analysis, and conceptual development. The focus was on integrating biophysical and social considerations into design. I facilitated interactive sessions to enhance students' skills and foster a deeper understanding.Fall 2023:ARCH 201 - Design I (Form, Space, & Order):I supported students in exploring fundamental concepts of visual perception, design principles, and architectural composition. The course, six credits with eight studio hours per week and two lecture hours, focused on conceptual design projects that progressed from abstract compositions to designs addressing specific programmatic and symbolic goals. The course aimed to deepen students' understanding of the time/space experience in architectural form, fostering both creative exploration and critical thinking.ARCH 208 - Building Materials I:As a Teaching Assistant, I supported students in a course that introduced methods and materials used in building construction. The focus was on criteria for evaluation and selection in the design process, including exploring regional building practices, their environmental impact, and sustainable technologies. My role included assisting students in navigating prerequisites and fostering their understanding of the intersection between materials, construction methods, and sustainable design considerations.
