I have a range of work experience from working as a customer service assistant, a live-in carer for the elderly and an English language teacher for children in Poland. I have learned to be fully flexible, organised, patient and efficient from each role. In addition, I undertook a GAP module for Careers. I was awarded three certificates for: a) Emotional Intelligence and Career Readiness; b) Certificate in Networking and Video Interview; and c) Certificate in Professionalism. Currently, I am volunteering to help refugees in Dundee. This requires leadership and compassion as I help my mentee navigate the city, build a CV, shopping, transport, etc. I am also enrolled in the Companionship Society and Enactus Society at Dundee University. I help elderly people combat loneliness through writing letters in the Companionship Society. For Enactus, this is helping people in the local area, providing them with mental health talks, visiting schools and providing supplies, etc. Both societies have been great opportunities for me to network with other members and interact with people from different age groups and backgrounds.
