About Samuli Sorvakko

I'm an cloud-focused architect/engineer with a background in security testing and auditing, security and IAM systems architecture and engineering with a bit of software development on the side. My programming experience is primarily in Java and C, but nowadays a variety of scripting languages is the more common tool. I'm also experienced in leading a multicultural, global team.During my career so far, I've acquired knowledge over a wide range of public cloud and networking, security and IAM related technologies and processes, a strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, PKI and programming languages. The multitude of standards relevant in this field (PCI, ISO27001, SOC2 etc etc) come with the territory as well.My major technologial interests outside my current work include embedded systems, industrial control systems and networking (TCP/IP, telephone/core networks, field buses and the more obscure stuff that sometimes comes up).
