With over six years in retail, I gained valuable insight in the inner workings of retail and the key performance indicators that retail firms rely on to measure success. While driving to improve sales quality and strive to achieve sales targets, I learned to build meaningful connections with customers to understand their needs and how I can offer products to exceed their expectations. Growing up in the Hispanic community and seeing so many families struggle with financial literacy. As a finance student at California State University, Fullerton, I gained experience in firm valuation, insight in corporate finance and personal finance. With the experience I have gained in school, I want to use what I learned to help create a sense of financial security for those who work hard for their money.My goal is to be an advocate for families who never had the resources to learn how to use their money in their favor. I want to create a brighter future for generations to come.
