16 years of experience in Unix Administrations which includes about 10 years of experience in Solaris (6-10) and about 6 years experience in AIX (3.x and 4.x) operating systems. Implemented high availability software on both operating systems as well: Veritas Cluster Services on Solaris and HACMP on AIX. Managed up to 20 Unix and Database (Informix and Oracle) Administrators, and have led teams which have done large implementations including an SAP implementation in the Midwest, China and the UK. Recently led a large project in which we upgraded our Solaris 8 machines to Solaris 10. In this project, we swapped out older hardware that was off lease, replaced it with newer Sun 490s and 890s and performed some server consolidation as well.Specialties: Solaris operating system, AIX operating system, Veritas Cluster Service, HACMP, server architecture, server consolidation, application installations including: IBM IHS, WebSphere, Informix, Oracle, MQM, UC4, BRIO, ConnectDirect and Orbix
