1) Adopted and proposed a scalable and deployable ensemble-based model for entity resolution. 2) Employed a blocking strategy based on predefined rules to split the dataset into blocks, reducing the number of comparisons from O(n2) for the entire dataset to O(n2) for blocks.3) Implemented active learning to train a logistic regression model with L2 regularisation to predict the similarity probability of two data points. 4) Incorporated hierarchical clustering using centroidal linkage to cluster data points that belong to the same real-life entity using the predicted probabilities of the Logistic regression model.5) Improved the predicted processing time on real data from 2 days for the previous rule-based solution by a factor of ¼.
