Souktik Bhattacherjee is a space architect and urban designer who is contributing to space architecture over the past four years with a specialization in the lunar architecture, urbanism for extraterrestrial environment, and deployable space habitats. He also did urban scale academic projects like development of ISKON Mayapur, and re-development of a part of Bara Bazar, Kolkata.With his contribution in space architecture, he was declared the Winner of the Martian Challenge 2021, with the team of AAKA Space Studio and semi-finalist of Human in Space Challenge 2023. He was part of the Space Station Design Workshop 2021, University of Stuttgart, and published research papers on self-sustainable Lunar Habitat at the Symposium on Space Educational Activities 2022, Spain, and International Conference on Environmental Systems 2022, US. His thesis on "Indian Space Research Institute" and an article "Implementing Artificial Intelligence In Urban Development: Opportunities and Challenges" was published in the Journal of Indian Institute of Architects, which is one of India's most prestigious journals.
