    The Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP) aims at improving the socio-economic conditions in 112 most under-developed and remotely located districts of India. This multi-stakeholder multi-sectoral programme is the world’s biggest governance reform, in terms of its magnitude and reach, and has emerged as one of the most successful data-driven evidence-based initiatives.As Director, I strategised, coordinated and implemented the programme. Through my rich experience of coordinating and leading diverse teams in data-driven programs, I have been able to positively impact the ADP in terms of its implementation and expansion, by improving various processes for managerial efficiency by establishing several institutional mechanisms such as a structured & seamless projects management and payment ecosystem, right communication channels for stakeholder management, grievance redressal mechanism, streamlining the output of my team; successfully forging collaborations with 112 District Teams, 26 State teams, 10 key Federal Departments and around 25 national and international Philanthropic Development Partners; and developing micro and macro plans for focused on-ground implementation and rapid transformation through the programme. Independent third party assessments, including one by UNDP, have recommended replicating the ADP in other developing countries as a model for inclusive development. I led the Programme Management Unit (PMU) in developing more than 300 projects worth 70 million USD for filling critical gaps in the Districts. Independent agencies have estimated the overall economic impact of reducing malnutrition through the ADP to be around 20 billion USD.I also played an instrumental role in establishing and shaping India's first Behavioural Insights Unit at NITI Aayog

I led the team in collaborating with 70 Federal Departments, 27 States, 7 Union Territories, Banking Institutions and Technology partners for ensuring timely delivery of government subsidy benefits.I received the ‘National Award for e-Governance 2018-19’ for ‘Excellence in providing Citizen Centric Delivery’, for my pivotal role in revamping the operations and streamlining the SOP of the National Scholarship Portal through which scholarship of more than 500 million USD was disbursed to 12 million students.
