Working with the Head of Regional Analysis at HM Treasury in the capacity of a graduate capstone consultant with a team of 4 students from LSE. HM Treasury is UK Government's Economic and Finance Ministry. Project: To develop an evidence base to assess the impact of planning interventions, particularly zoning, on sustainable growth in the UK. The project evaluates the effects of existing policies and determines how zoning can be applied in the UK context to promote sustainable urban development. It aims to identify the most effective areas for zoning interventions and how these can be used to support sustainable growth in cities, focusing on both economic and environmental sustainability.

Working as a student assistant, supporting a team of 8 associates. In this role, I contributed to data analysis and policy development aimed at enhancing student experiences at LSE:1. Conducted an Excel-based quantitative analysis of Welcome Week survey data from 1,000+ students, providing insights to deliver targeted support and improve student engagement.2. Created data-driven actionable strategies to enhance student satisfaction in alignment with the LSE 2030 goal to empower students as agents of change. 3. Designed a policy implementation framework by researching the ratification process at LSE and identifying key stakeholders, formalizing 10+ student referendums into actionable policies.

In this role, I worked as a student consultant with a leading French telecom Hardware provider. In this role, I 1. Developed a £800k expansion plan, facilitating a telecom hardware provider’s entry and scaling into 3 new Asian markets, projected to increase market share by 15%.2. Collaborated with 5 consultants to deliver presentations and reports to communicate key findings to stakeholders.

I worked with the South Asian team of J-Pal in the capacity of Summer Intern. Initially recruited for a period of 2 months, I received an extension of the internship for 4 months based on the need of the project and the performance of the team. 1. Analyzed data of 1.2 billion individuals using the Government of India's Socio-Economic Caste Census to assess rural infrastructure needs under the guidance of Punjab’s State Policy Lead.2. Developed three welfare indicators, identifying 8 million+ eligible beneficiaries of rural housing.3. Drafted training materials for policymakers in the Departments of Finance, Health, and Education in collaboration with J-Pal’s multi-disciplinary Policy Consulting Team, which recorded a 10% increase in program efficiency.

Niti Samwaad, a Teach for India project, focuses on providing education opportunities to underprivileged children in Indian urban cities. The project aims to advance students' knowledge of civic education, enabling them to actively participate in the country's democratic process. The vision behind Niti Samwaad is to develop critical thinking among children, contributing to the strengthening of democratic values in India at large.For the development of the project, I1. Spearheaded a research project to diagnose the gaps in education delivery across metropolitan regions in India. 2. Strengthened the quality of civic education by co-founding the project promoting discussions around relevant public policies (education policies, financial assistance policies) with 120+ children and parents.3. Developed customizable lesson plans used by over 10+ teachers while delivering content to the children. 4. Collaborated with stakeholders from public-private schools and government in Pune city for the implementation. 5. Analyzed data from 6 participating schools to draft reports and strategize program goals for subsequent years.In this role, I was able to secure program continuation for an additional 12 months. As of 2024, the program is in its 3rd year of intervention.

As one of the 10 advisors selected out of a cohort of 100, I implemented technology-based community design strategies, including online forums and digital feedback tools, to foster cross-cultural collaboration, achieving a 10% reduction in fellow attrition.

Teach for India is a network partner for the Teach for All group that works to ensure that every child has access to an equitable and excellent education. The organization works in the spirit of a nationwide movement of leaders dedicated to providing an excellent education for all children. Responsibilities and Achievements : 1. Coached 200+ students from low-income settings in Urban India. 2. Achieved 2.5 years of academic growth in one year by implementing peer-to-peer learning strategies and dedicating 2+ hours per week to each student’s academic needs.3. Moderated interactive discussions with students aged 14-16 to raise awareness about reproductive rights for child protection.4. One of the 20 fellows nominated for Teach for India's Transformational Impact Journey (TIJ) Award, 2022.
