 Evaluating and reviewing company’s Logistics & transportation operations business practices, updating and developing process documentation, streamlining opportunities, and eliminating non-value added activities; developing, documenting and executing a logistics & distribution strategic plan for driving optimal customer service and revenue enhancement Managing receipts & dispatches of goods, randomly checking the consignment before dispatches and processing orders to ensure quick & correct delivery to attain timely completion of monthly production targets Aligning dispatch plan & plant output, ensuring vehicle availability with effective vendor management to meet the requirements of each sector / segment; successfully allocating orders to transporters through vendor portal and get visibility of order acceptance from vendor for dispatch planning Spearheading warehouse operations, evaluating work performance, maintaining clean & safe environment, monitoring purchase, receipt, inspection, storage, cataloguing, inventory and distribution of stock, working on production coordination, transportation, direct-indirect distribution, sales accounting & stock inventory and implemented FIFO System Leading incoming & outgoing material activities to ensure accuracy, completeness & quality of material; participating in review of specification updates and spearheading activities of inventory control group to determine delivery requirements  Administering the inventory management operations; supervising MSL (minimum stock level) and inventory at service center’s stock and company warehouse with focus on improvising replenishment of key repair parts timely Steering overall responsibility for stores, material inward, outward and inventory system (i.e. resolve the discrepancies, if any observed in receipt & documentation) consumables, keeping in view consumption and lead time for procurement Performing cost-effective negotiations with carrier partners and completing the contract formalities for seamless operations Maintaining physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspected equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement Enhancing stock-taking accuracy levels, controlling budget per case and consistently meeting same day deliveries within demanding deadlines Managing External Finish goods storage yard to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery requirement of the yard operations
