Hiya, I'm Soumyadeep! 🤗First off, a little bit about me. I am currently a pre-final year engineering undergraduate majoring in the exciting field of electronics, with a huge passion for Machine Learning and Computer Science. My appreciation for the broad field of Machine Intelligence began when I attempted to build a chatbot around the time Google Assistant was launched. I couldn't create anything more than a monstrous concoction of (approximately) thousands of if-else statements, but I sure learned a lot about Deep Learning and basic Sequential Networks (in class 9th; this was before transformers were even a thing).I love working with data and discovering intricate patterns that, when leveraged properly, can impact the world in meaningful ways. I have participated in many hackathons and competitions over the years, and I’ve been fortunate to win quite a few. As of recent, I’ve been involved in some exciting research in the field of Computer Vision, while also learning more about the AI Alignment problem and the tools that could help align these powerful models with human values.(That's way more than I usually like to say about myself.
