I was initially brought on board to support with the Xmas rush of print-on-demand jobs. Initial responsibilities were simply to fulfil orders made online, package and prepare them for shipping.Quickly, my responsibilities changed and more roles and duties were afforded to me such as:- Opening up the day- Printing orders using industrial printers- Using the system to fulfil re-print, or correct prior mistakes, returns or damanges- completing admin and paperwork for owner/manager- taking stock counts- managing inventory- supporting other areas of the printing business in various print based worksI was fortunate enough to do so by being a reliable, helpful employee and willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.At times, I would be the only person in on a given day and would have to take care of all daily operations on my own, ensuring orders were printed, cut, packaged, distributed, all paperwork was completed and business admin jobs for the day were done.

I was initially hired to be part of a small team of staff on a brand new warehouse. The initial job was simply labelling items of clothes with price tags, placing items back. I was regualrly among those with the highest amount of products labelled in any given hour.Once the initial contract came to an end in February of 2023, I was one of a small amount of individuals kept on to the next contract as the new client came in. I was to help setup a warehouse for a new c;ient by building some of the 'flat pack' shelvings, preapring shelvings for stock and more.Within a couple of weeks of starting, I was trained on loading/unloading trucks, then trained on heavy duty lifts and other various pieces of equipment in the warehouse. I was also taught how to prepare a truck for both loading, unloading and liaising with a truck driver to ensure a smooth transition.

I ran my own small recording studio for 4 years.All relevant skills that come with running a relatively successful business from client liaison, to management, time management, organisation, admin and much more were used during this role.The business took major hits during COVID, and the cost of living crisis, barely keeping its head above water but just surviving until a flood happened in the studio and the business had to close.
