When asked if I've worked with a language or tool I haven't used before, I generally respond by saying I can probably pick it up pretty quickly. I find it rather exciting to have the opportunity to learn new things and face new technical challenges.-Humans = Master, Technology = Servant-I seek ways to apply technology to help others work more effectively and efficiently. Sometimes this involves writing software. Other times it involves helping someone learn more about the software they use every day (such as Microsoft Excel). Whether software development, user interface design, or one on one training, I like it when I see the excitement of others when their productivity soars.-People Over Process-Although I'm very task and process focused, my values force me to remember that people are more important than tasks or processes. I've found that investing in relationships results in a more productive team.
