I have been in the elevator business since February of 1978, following in the footsteps of my father, Jim Szczublewski and my uncle, Larry Szczublewski, both 25 plus year employees of Haughton / Schindler-Haughton / Schindler / Millar Elevator.While with Haughton I worked in Hydraulic Electrical & Mechanical Contract Engineering, Traction Mechanical Contract Engineering and finally as a Project Manager in Architectural Products, coordinating cabs, entrances and fixtures with the local offices and the various suppliers.I left Schinder's Toledo headquarters in March of 1985 to join Brice-Southern as the manager of the Engineering Department.While there I instituted many changes bringing them into the computer era using Sun Microsystem's computer equipment and Pro/Engineer CAD software.
