This position aims to develop a computational methodology that can accurately predict spin-relaxation times and design magnetic materials with extended spin-relaxation times under ambient conditions.

My research thesis primarily concentrated on low-dimensional systems, where I employed density functional theory to examine the behavior of organic molecules upon adsorption onto surfaces, as well as the impact of defects on the electronic properties of two-dimensional materials. The overarching goal of my study was to manipulate the electronic and magnetic properties of these two-dimensional systems through molecular adsorption and defect engineering, ultimately aiming to unlock their potential for various technological applications.
