Sourav is an aspiring young conservation biologist based in Bangladesh. His field skills include both radio-tracking and camera-trapping survey techniques, and he also has experience implementing effective community conservation practices. Sourav has been actively involved in community-based livelihood projects within Chattogram Hill Tracts, the western edge of Indo Burma biodiversity hotspot, and has demonstrated a deep commitment to engaging and empowering indigenous communities toward the protection of wildlife and their habitat.
